Pirate Princess, USA boy, Water fun!

The kids had so much fun- playing in this little pool! I wasn't sure how Tae would like it, but he loved it! Sibling love is evidenced in the photos!

Birthday parties and soccer!

Last weekend, Charlie had a soccer game and then a birthday party for a sweet little girl in his class. It was a princess dress up party and he said he was NOT dressing up and that he was not eating pink cake. I said, well we don't have to go, because you have a soccer game. He was so upset and said, Call the coach right now and tell her I will not be at the game. I am going to the party! So, we all went to the party! Char didn't dress up or eat pink cake, but had a lot of fun. Moots was soooooooooooo excited about dressing up. She wore her new outfit from the Byrds and her Aeriel shoes from Grandma and Grampa! Tae LOVED running around the gym!

Tae's First Haircut!

We went to Huntsville to a Kids Salon for Tae's first haircut! The took pictures of him and had cool cars for him to sit in. Charlie went first to show him what to do and at first Tae was a little apprehensive, but let the lady cut a little, then he wanted me to hold him, so we moved to a regular chair. Let's just say he DOES NOT LIKE HAIRCUTS! Poor baby- I had to hold his head still and it was not fun! Anyway, the mullet is no longer! However, he has cute q-tip hair that sticks up!

We went to eat at Rosie's afterwards and Charlie fell in the fountain! He was leaning over too far after throwing pennies in and playing with his balloon and got drenched!! What a day!!

Day 4 of Fever :(

Tae has had a fever for 4 days. We went for his 1 st visit to Dr. Parmer- because, I was convinced he inherited (from us) the ear infection gene! No ear infection, just a virus. He is so clingy and grumpy and just feels bad. Poor baby. Not sleeping well- up and down all night. Charlie got a fever last night and was fine all day today, but it has come back again tonight. Moots is doing great! Praying she doesn't get it too! Charlie didn't get to play soccer today, but CJ went and coached. He took Jerri Lynn and they had so much fun.

Weekly update!

Charlie is not sure we have the right baby. He has made up a Korean word "A bump bump" and he said, " Are you sure we have the right baby, because when I say, "A bum bump" Tae doesn't know what it is!" Charlie is a fabulous big brother, very helpful, protective and loving to Tae!

Mootsie is a great big sister- helping Mommy feed Tae and always ready to give him a hug or bopo (Korean kiss!) She can spell her name- J-E-R-R- I L-Y-N-N spells Mootsie! So cute!!!

Tae went to bed tonight for the 1st time without crying. I layed down with him in our bed and no tears! This is huge!!!! I told him to blow Ree Ree kisses and he did! That was the 1st time we have seen him do that. Also, he has learned to sign "eat" and waves and says, "bye bye" He amazes us daily!

Family Fun!

Soccer Fun!

Tae is home! Fun arrival at the airport with lots of family and sweet close friends (Aryn, Kristi and Cole, and Jessica!)

Bath time!

Tae did NOT like for us to even turn on the bath water for the first few days, so last night I let him watch Charlie take a bath and just held him. Then we sat on the side of the tub fully clothed! Next, we eased into the tub and by the time bathtime was over- he had taken a great bath and even washed his hair! I was freezing with wet clothes!!! Now, he LOVES his bath!

First night home!

Tae slept all night long! It was wonderful. Of course, mommy and daddy didn't, but we were so happy to have him- I think we were running on adrenaline! Saturday morning we all woke up and went to Charlie's first soccer game! CJ is one of the coaches and it was so cute to see all the kids playing. Charlie yelled for Grampa on the side to kick the ball!!! Tae rode on my back in his carrier. He is very used to that in Korea. We had a house full of people all day! Grandma, Grampa, Uncle Steve, Aunt Suzanne, Jacob, Aunt Stephanie, Kailee, Avree, Ree Ree, Eli, and Aunt Debra and Aunt Leah, Gracie, Emily Anne and Reid were all here to play! Tae had a long nap, so that leads to up all night! Mommy and Tae played until 4 am!!! He slept until 9 the next day and then cried for Oma. I wanted Oma too :( He fell asleep on the kitchen floor with his thumb. Sunday night was much better. He went to bed about 8 and woke up at 11:30- he laid beside me with his eyes open for 4 hours and then fell asleep until 9 am. 3 hour nap today and then asleep at 7:45 tonight. He will drink whole milk now! Yeah!!! So, he gets a bottle, his thumb and snuggles mommy to go night night. Only about 3 seconds of crying tonight!!!!
