Charlie and Jerri Lynn were so excited to see the actual picture of their new brother! We are calling him Baby Tae, but we don't know what his name will be. Think we have to see him to decide! Yes- that is Thomas' Donuts they are eating!!

When we were in SC, my nephew Jacob (from Korea) said, "I'm getting a new cousin from Korea. Charlie said, "Me too!" It was so cute and funny. Charlie also wants to know if we are trading in Jerri Lynn for Tae or if we will be keeping her!

Fed EX package!

We had Mary Anne send our paperwork to mom's house, because we were going to the beach. We left Friday morning for the beach and the paperwork arrived at 4 pm. Debra Roberson was also coming to the beach, so she picked it up for us at mom's house and brought it to us!

IT is OFFICIAL Baby Tae is ours

I called Dillon today and told them we want our little guy! We accepted his referral and Mary Anne will overnight the paperwork to us to sign! Dr. Joe and Dr. Parmer said they think he is a healthy baby boy and is developing great (even if he wasn't we already love him too much to say no!!) It is so amazing how God has chosen us in His family and how He chose baby Tae for ours. We are humbled beyond words and sooooooooooooo excited! Thank you Lord for our baby boy blessing!

Dillon (our adoption agency) called last night and left a message that they needed to talk to me. So, I called back last night (too late) then 3 times today and finally late this afternoon- Mary Anne asked me if I wanted to hear about a precious little boy. Of course, I listened intently, my heart was racing as I was thinking- is this really true- this quick we are getting a referral??? They just cashed our check the day before!!! As she told me his history, she said, do you want me to send you his picture and all his medical/social history. "YES!" I am in South Carolina at my sister's for Kailee's birthday party and CJ is in Decatur working. She e-mailed the info and photo and we just couldn't wait, so we skyped each other and read it all and viewed the photo together. We both just cried- he was beautiful. Chubby cheeks like the rest of us that we can't wait to kiss on!!! So, she adviced us to let our pediatricain look at his medical info and get back to her! We can't wait- e-mailing Dr. Joe now and faxing Dr. Parmer in the morning! We are sooooooooooooooooooo unbelievably surprised to be getting this adorable little baby! His birthday is March 2, 2010, so he and Jerri Lynn are 14 months apart- just perfect. We are so amazed that God has chosen us to be Tae Seung's parents. Praying all the details will work out! We already love this little Adashi!!!

About time for an UPDATE!

Well, Charlie is now 3 1/2 and Jerri Lynn is 20 months old! They are growing tooooooo fast, there is never a dull minute around here! Just today we got our papers notarized to send in our I-600A form for adoption. Our home study is complete-finally, after waiting 6 months for my fingerprints to come back!!! CJ's came back alot sooner, but I had to be re-fingerprinted in Montgomery! We have prayed all along in God's perfect timing our precious Korean baby will come to us, so we are being patient with the wait! However, we were told it will only be 2-4 months before we receive a referral of our sweet baby that God has picked for us! The tough part will be waiting 10-13 months to go get him/her. We are soooooooo excited about getting to find out who is going to join our family and we can't wait to meet our baby.
